Then if you like, you can pipe little stars in the gaps between the flowers, if any. I used neon pink and normal white frosting, with a small tip, to make the stars. Make sure to grease and flour the pans and it is a good idea to put parchment paper on the bottom as well. Pipe on those flowers. To make the flower, hold the tip perpendicular to the cake. Press the tip to the cake, then pull up, squeeze and do a circle motion, which will create the small flower. Repeat next to that flower, etc. I like to use the double bag technique because it allows me to switch out frosting colors but use the same tip. Take one decorating bag and add the star tip to it. I use the Wilton 1M or 2D tips.

So, if you’re looking for 6-inch cake tins, 8-inch cake tins, rectangle cake tins or some standard cake baking tins, we’ve got everything you could possibly want to perfect your bakes. What to look for in a cake tin Begin by baking the cakes. You can use whatever cake recipe that you want. I have several here on Instructables that you can use. Or just use your favorite cake mixes, along with the required ingredients of course. Traybakes are the perfect choice for kids’ parties. Mix up a sponge, bake it, decorate with frosting and sprinkles then serve directly from the tin - it’s an easy, less-mess win. Our cake bake trays cook evenly and, with helpful handles, are safe and simple to lift in and out of the oven. They’re also ideal for baking gooey brownies and make it extra easy to portion out your sweet treats into identical squares with the handy guidelines marked along each edge. Mini cake baking tins The doll cake is top on the list for most little girls’ birthday parties and its definitely one I would encourage anyone to attempt as the shaping of the fondant can hide a mass of errors!! The fondant folds of the dress don’t have to be precise so its great for amateur bakers and it will always look impressive! To decorate I used three lots of regal ice fondant in sky blue and one in baby pink. First add a layer of buttercream (I chose chocolate of course). Then after kneading the fondant until it was pliable I rolled out the blue fondant into a circle and dropped this across the cake. With the smoother I have shaped the dress, but having overlapping sections show movement in the material. With the excess fondant cut out a strip to wrap around the body of the doll to form the bodice of the dress. Bake cake. Prepare cake batter following recipe instructions. Bake and cool cake in Wonder Mold pan. Level cake to top of pan.

You will need double maybe even triple the amount depending on how tall your Barbie is. For this style and this size barbie, you need 2.5 Cake Mix boxes. I just keep the one cake layer that I don't use and use it for something else, like cake pops or cakesicles. Set the oven to moderately hot (gas 5 or 190°C/375°F). Line a Pyrex bowl or dome-shaped cake tin with baking paper. You can watch our video on how to line a round cake tin if you need help. We allow a 30-day period (from the date of receipt) for any faulty goods to be returned to us. See below for any product-specific exclusions/disclaimers. When completely cool, cover the sponge with a thin layer of buttercream icing and then lay the white fondant icing over the top and make pleats in the front to look like a skirt.

Add some purple food coloring gel to a bunch of frosting. Then mix until well colored. Add more food coloring as necessary. Place each frosting in separate pastry bags, each fitted with a coupler. Using the #45 tip and lighter frosting, apply ruffles to the front of the cake, beginning at the center bottom of the triangle and working your way up to the top. Create the ruffled ribbon effect by moving the pastry bag up and down, up and down as you move upwards. Fill the space to the left and right of the first ruffle with more ruffles until the triangle is filled. Decorate Barbie's top with the coloured fondant icing and the top part of the iced sponge cake to look like an overskirt and top.
